Privacy Policy

MyBudget (“the app”, “we”, “us”) is a personal budgeting app published by bleuleo. Privacy-first by design: your financial information stays on your device and is never uploaded to our servers. Optional cloud backup uses your own Google Drive account.

1. Information you provide

You enter this information into the app:

• Transactions
• Accounts
• Budgets
• Categories
• Receipt images
• Notes
• Profile name
• Profile picture

This information remains on your device unless you choose to back it up to Google Drive.

2. Where your data is stored

Everything above is stored locally on your device in the app’s private database. We, the developer, have no server that receives or stores this data, and we cannot see it.

3. Optional features that use third parties

• Google Drive backup & Google Sign-In. Receipt photos are stored locally on your device. If you enable backup, they — together with your database — are included in a backup stored privately in your own Google Drive account, where Google encrypts it at rest. It lives in a private application folder that only the app can see; only you can access it, and you can delete these backups from your Drive at any time.
• Subscriptions (Pro). We use RevenueCat and Google Play Billing to manage Pro. They process your purchase and a randomly-generated anonymous identifier to know whether your subscription is active. We never receive your card or payment details.
• Currency exchange rates. When you record spending in a foreign currency, the app fetches current rates from a third-party rate service. Only a request for rates is sent — no personal or financial data leaves your device.
• Notifications. Budget alerts and daily reminders are generated locally on your device; nothing is sent to us.

4. Third-party services

Google Sign-In, Google Drive Backup, and Google Play Billing are governed by Google’s applicable terms and privacy policies. RevenueCat is governed by its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

5. What we do not do

• We do not show ads.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your data.
• We do not run third-party analytics or trackers on your financial data. (RevenueCat processes only the subscription information described above.)

6. Keeping and deleting your data

Your data stays on your device until you remove it. You can:

• Export a full JSON backup any time (Settings → Data).
• Delete individual items in the app.
• Clear the app’s data or uninstall to remove everything from the device.
• Delete Drive backups from your Google Drive.

7. Children

MyBudget is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Security

Your data is held in the app’s private storage on your device and, if you enable backup, in your private Google Drive folder. Please protect your device with a screen lock.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy; the “Last Updated” date above will change. Continued use of the app means you accept the update.
